Boom, bang, one shot and dead…



Breaking news flashes on the T.V. screens. One moment of shock and the party at our home continues. Next day in the newspaper, news says, 6 more died at the warfront, another split second of little bash for us and our daily routine continues.



But there are six homes that have hundreds of emotions flowing through their minds and hearts.



There is a man who is not able to stand properly on his own. His eyes are flowing in the heartache of the death of his only son and at the same time his heart is full of pride and his crying eyes also reveal the glow as he is very proud of his son and his new designation as a martyr's father.



'You may be a person for the whole world, but for one person you are the whole world…and that's your mother.' Think about the feelings of that mother whose son gave his life for his other mother, his motherland. But she is proud to be called as a martyr's mother.



Then there is a woman, standing alone, trying to support the old steps of her husband's parents. Trying to meet the financial needs of her home because the one who had this responsibility has gone to another world, leaving her alone. The woman mustn't only hide her tears but she also has to show a fake smile for her son because she can't tell him that the gift he is waiting for himself by his father will never come. She can't tell him because he is too young to handle the amount of shock of loosing his father. But she is proud to be called as a martyr's wife.





There stands a girl, who was promised by her brother that he will get her married as soon as he would come for the next holidays. But she knows that neither that holiday would come nor she would ever celebrate rakhi. But she is proud to be called as a martyr's sister.





For a single death to us at the merciless warfront, is actually a death of a son, a husband, a father, a brother and a friend. Every part of that home, every moment at that home, every breath of the family member is saying…..
