I never thought before coming to the team of Gnosiomania that the experiences are going to be so great. I knew this is not wrong but it would turn so great, I had no idea.
First time in my life I had a such a wonderful experience. Sharing moments with budding artists, with Gnosiomania giving their talents a platform to come out of the shell and present their talents in the front of the world. What makes it much better was the participation of a Girl's school.
India is a country whose girls fight for their dignity in the society and still few of them emerge perfectly out of the dirt of our so called conventional society and its rules. Their a participation of more than 190 students was awesome.
I would like to thanks the Principal, teachers and above all the students of Saint Mary's School, Allahabad to give Gnosiomania a chance to come in their school and to give a cracking but still a modest start to the live events of Gnosiomania 2010.
It started at 09:20 am on 13th of November, just a day before Children Day.
Thanks to Ashish Sethi and Suchismita Nandy, main coordinators of the event who had already prepared for what was going to be a sweet experience.
As soon as we reached the school, Principal of St. Mary's School was all set with her students ready in queues. Grade VI to IX and XI girls were standing in long queues in the premises of school with their water colors, and all other painting stuffs. The scene took me to my good old school days. Their participation helped our morale to boost up a lot.
We started with the proceedings, and the girls were all set with the FAQ's
1.) Can we start now?
2.) What are the rules?
3.) Can we see from book and draw?
4.) What is the time limit?
5.) What is the theme? (Well the answer is ofcourse GREEN AND GOLD).
Question which we use to ask, now we were at the receiving end.
Artists were all set and the next bunch of pics would show the work of nascent talents.
So in all we had a great experience, a first thanks to the students of St. Mary's School, it's Staff.
And kudos the Gnosiomania team....

Great Job!
The paintings just do not let me stop wonder the talent these children have... I mean, there is a theme, then a time limit, that too only 1 hour and still the outcome is before all of us to marvel! Hats off to the children of Allahabad!! It gives a great feeling to be associated with them.
It shows the spirit of Gnosiomania!
Congratulations for such a huge success and this will definitely give everyone in the team a reason to work harder... On track to making Gnosiomania a bigger success than ever...

gr8 job dude... events like these have really opened new dimensions towards wot college festivals should be about... and the spirit of gnosiomania spreads like the G+ve virus ;)
